Software Engineer - .NET Core

Role Summary: The Software Engineer is a team member within our Agency department. We are looking for a .Net Core MVC Web Developer who will help our nonprofit client build their website on top of the Sitefinity CMS with several 3rd party integrations. The successful candidate will be developing, testing, documenting, supporting, and troubleshooting our CMS products and integrations.
Technology Stack:
 CMS: Sitefinity 14 Search: Elasticsearch Languages: C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS Frameworks: .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core Infrastructure: Amazon AWS, Kubernetes, Docker Desktop (local) Data Storage: SQL Server DevOps: Azure DevOps with Git Repository
Primary Responsibilities:  Create well designed, testable, efficient code using software development best practices Design, develop and maintain Sitefinity CMS website project Research new technologies and communicate findings with team members Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the goals of the website are aligned with the delivered features Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Requirements:  Proven working experience in web programming Excellent customer service and communication skills (written / verbal) Ability to be organized, detailed, and multi-task Excellent analytical skills; superior problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot JavaScript and UI/CSS issues Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement
Education and Experience:  BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 2-year degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience Experience in developing public-facing websites with .NET Experience with C# and .NET technologies - 2 - Working Knowledge of Visual Studio Working Knowledge of SQL – especially with MSSQL Working Knowledge of Docker Desktop Working Knowledge of Git (Azure DevOps) Working knowledge of .NET CORE MVC, and entity framework
Preferred Qualifications:  Experience with at least one .NET based Content Management System is a plus (Sitefinity - preferred, Sitecore, Kentico) Experience integrating Sitefinity and Elasticsearch (experience with Elasticsearch, SOLR, or Coveo, also good) Experience with Association Management System is a plus (NetForum preferred, Fonteva, Personify) Working knowledge of automated testing is a plus

Work hours are generally 8 am to 5 pm but can be flexible when needed. Salary will depend on experience but will be competitive
